The name BLOUIN Contracting carries a personal history.
Originally used by Vera Blouin’s father for the contracting company he founded, the name has been carried forward by Vera as a tribute to his legacy and the influence of construction within her own story.
Today, BLOUIN Contracting is a new company with a distinctly defined purpose: to bring BLOU INK residential concepts into built form.
A NAME WITH HISTORY
BLOUIN Contracting honors what came before without attempting to recreate it.
By carrying forward the name her father established, Vera connects the legacy of building that preceded her with the residential concepts and development system she is creating today.
The name remains. Its purpose is being newly defined.
THE DESIGN DESERVES ITS EXECUTION
BLOU INK residences are defined before construction begins, from spatial organization and material language to the relationships that shape how each residence is experienced.
BLOUIN Contracting exists to protect that definition through execution.
Through preconstruction and construction, the company coordinates the people, materials, systems, trades, and processes required to move each residence from defined concept to physical form.

BUILT AS DEFINED
BLOUIN Contracting does not operate as a conventional custom-home builder.
Construction is dedicated exclusively to acquired or licensed BLOU INK residential concepts, creating continuity between the original design intent and its physical execution.
The objective is not simply to construct a house, it's to build the residence as it was defined.
